@monstereo Well, the last time she went against her label to provide the undeserving fans with a video, she shelled out millions of her own money and the song went on to become the biggest FLOP in her entire pop career. So as badly as she probably WANTS to provide a bunch of videos, financially it's just not realistic.

Not to mention that Gaga was extremely passionate about A-YO being the next single. I bet she had an incredible video planned, that once again, Like Venus, she's had to scrap. Now she's rushing and trying her hardest to create a video that her fans moaned and groaned about becoming the next single and are now complaining about.  

This era has been boring and very hollow, but a lot of it has to do with the Label's poor single choice, the election, and her fans bitching tbh. (not implying your post, because you 100% right. 3 videos in 5 years SUCKS)

Annoyed, I guess, music videos kind of defined her, they used elevate her music even more. You can say that her label is not willing to risk it with high budget music videos, but you don't need a lot of money to create an artistic compelling and eye catching music video, especially when we consider Gaga and her concepts.

But then again, she only wants to work with acclaimed directors and videographers.

Gaga used to have iconic music videos that were imitated. She was the master of amazing music videos. She lost her touch to all her i want to be artists bullshit and came out with the most boring album to date. Perfect illusion mv was terrible, no choreography, no visuals, no costumes, no fashion NOTHING! Even tho the song is great. The gp doesnt want mr even tho it was at 1 on itunes+carpool careoke+ama. The gp obviously does not give a damn about her and i cant blame them. Theres nothing left from what hooked them on gaga from the start. And she is trying to cover gp disinterest with "i dont care about money" bs. As if shes coming with something soooooo genius and controversial

She lost the creative team that made her famous, plain and simple. When you compare the visual aspects of music videos like Bad Romance and G.U.Y. the latter lacks the same spark.

Unfortunately, Bowie died and those impulsive and pretentious thoughts about 'being treated as' came back.
