In all realness they are what made me obsessed with Kpop in 2009 and 2010, and I've been such a huge fan over all these years. Every new group I'd pick up, I'd always be thankful to 2ne1 for opening that door for me and now I'm at work listening to CRUSH which is still one of my favorite albums of all time, with tears in my eyes and wanting to go home and get really drunk omg how did this happen. T^T

The difference between BP and 2NE1 is that 2NE1 seemed to genuinely enjoy their style of music, look at CL, she's obviously into EDM/HipHop that much that she's doing it solo. BP just seem like they're doing what they are told and don't have the personality to go with their music.

BP is just a blatant copy of 2NE1, why cant you accept it?

BP has been trained for 5+ years. Obviously they're gonna know how to sing and dance, all the kpop idols are trained to be able to learn a song and choreography in 6 hours

What the ****. I didn't even state an opinion in my last post. You just posted what the YG guy said like it was something that was bad for YG.  I think it's 100% obvious that they tried to make a "new" 2ne1 band with Blackpink.There are zero doubt about that.But that literally means nothing. First of all there is NO originality in the girls themselves.BOTH bands were 100% created by the company.Sure 2ne1 were created first but that means nothing because they still be a product of YG. It's not like they are Madonna that was a self-created artist ,that made her own choices,her visuals,her music. All those kpop groups were products. So all the "personality"and the "atittude" that they had is something that was made up.Did they play their roles well? Sure 

It's not like after the 6 years training every band becomes equally good. There is something called natural talent.Also all of the girls (especially Jennie and Lisa) are INCREDIBLE dancers,their charisma and flow on stage is not something that you see everyday even in a kpop band.

Your last statement is just plain stupid. I NEVER said any of this. I said that this is what the YG guy said. That the difference is that this time around they chose the girls to be pretty and SKILLED.

You call me ignorant and yeah maybe you know more about kpop than me (since I am not a huge kpop stan) but it's so obvious that you are not a person that can argue well because you are bias AF.
