Seems like everyone talks about female artists and admires them only. Where is the love for male superstars? Maybe I am the only one who thinks that way. Uhm no, I think almost everyone knows that and it's quite obvious

They express their art through overheard sounds and old imagery. This ! 99% of them are so repetitve and they have nothing new, they are so boring. I feel like there is more of a license to be "beautiful" and "pretty" and "expressive" or even practice the "arts" in our collective subconscious in society and like stated here, sometimes the things we praise male solo artists for specifically are them expressing what would be considered "feminine" traits. (Falsetto, flamboyancy, higher voices, etc.) Not that that is good or bad, just a slightly biased observation. I mostly listen to solo artists and small groups when it comes to popular music, but when I find a male artist I like (which comes down to their voice/lyrics usually) I'm not like, shy to acknowledge them. Bruno Mars is kind of bae tbh, 24k magic has been slaying me for half a day now (I do think tween male pop stars are kind of annoying and unoriginal though, sorry Shawn Mendes + co) Did you just spoke from my brain ? Beside Måns az Adam Levine other Male singers are so basic.
Kanye West 1,676
Because most of them are simply awful and generic. For some reason, female artists are more creative and make better music (generally speaking). There are very few popular male artists that have any substance to them. Kanye West, John Legend, Nas, and CeeLo Green are a few that have substance. KANYEWEST.COM
