You chose that career path and you can choose to walk away from that career in a second. People will forget you as fast as you can say poof. With fame and fortune comes no privacy - With privacy comes no fame and fortune. You choose. The world is your oyster honey and you've got hundreds of millions of dollars and the power to change so many things and so many lives. You've also got the funds to retire and drop off the face of this earth. Pick one. Nobody wants to hear about your bitching because most of the people you're speaking to are slaving their asses off just to afford to go to one of your shows. Stop with the I'm rich and I'm famous and I've got no privacy sap story. Snap out of it I view fame as a (an unwanted) side effect of wanting a career as some type of performer. Some people strive for those types of careers because they want fame and attention, but others just love the craft of acting, singing, ect (I believe Gaga's motivation was fame and love of the craft). Success in those fields often means fame at some level. I don't think its fair to say that famous people shouldn't talk about the negatives of fame. Gaga isn't asking for a pity party or even complaining. She is simply explaining what her life is like in an attempt to try to relate to people. What is so bad about that? You can work in entertainment as a singer, actor and dancer without fame. Not all singing and acting jobs come in the form of high notoriety, Hollywood record labels and agents. ESPECIALLY in NY where she's from. She wanted and chose to become famous. Like I said, she can walk away from it anytime. You wanna cry about it? Lay your head down on your Egyptian silk pillows in your Malibu mansion and weep honey because nobody wants to hear it. There are starving kids in Africa and children's heads being blown up by bombs in Syria. And you wanna cry cause you've got no damn privacy on a beach in Malibu. Pick a finger. This applies to all rich and famous celebrities, not just gaga, who bitch and cry about privacy but it's the career path they chose. You can walk away at anytime. But come one look on the bright side: you ve got money, health, family, friends... if she really wanted to and if it really was a big deal for her she would dissappear away to 'Timboktu' (Africa, South America regions where there are indigenous people, you get the idea) where media hasnt reached yet and get her dose of humanity and then realise how lucky she is and go back to living her life. PLus it's getting boring to hear our stars say all this. Britney, Gaga everyone... Come on man... It's going to sound horrible but give us what you're there for: an escape to our monotonous lives. We work every day in the same job, do the same things. You have the power and money to do anything you want right now. If you are not doing it it is because you are being ignorant about what life can offer you. Get over it Gaga, move on and live a happy life. I cannot deal with sad depressed people. Hire a psychologist, get friends idk... what the hell man but come on, dont dampen our lives anymore. I can give you a sob story to cry about on CBS. Let me tell you. I agree with the post saying that Gaga needs to buckle the hell up and get on with her life and stop pittying herself and her life and being a victim. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. move on gaga. get help. you are a very lucky person to have what you have. be wise and live life fully otherwise youre gonna die and realise you didnt make the best of it all. So ignorant You are not in her shoes, and you probably never will be + She's an artist, not a flawless powerful gay goddess that you want. Expressing her deepest and most sincere feelings is her job, that's what artists do. I personally find her words so inspiring and thought-provoking

Yea but high levels of success in a performing career comes with fame. She could have limited herself and not become as famous and successful but then she wouldn't have the money or resources to be able to put on such extravagant shows and performances. And I don't think she could just walk away from it all and go back to doing small sets in bars. Once you reach the level of fame she had, you can never go back. People will never forget you. Not The Real Gaga 7,512
I bet 90% of the people here who are now saying that they respect here, would still stalk her to death if they see her in real life. Hypocrits.

Without engaging in her passion, she would havd never met us and that would rip her heart out. She loves us more than we can imagine but sometimes she just wishes she could have us and not all of the "other stuff" if that makes sense. People always think that celebrities have it made but there's a dark side to fame. Gaga hit the nail on the head I love you monsters. This just breaks my heart. She loves us so damn much, she's constantly trying to make us happy if that makes sense. But a flame can't burn forever. Eventually it goes out. That's what happened during ARTPOP. I remember watching interviews from that era and telling my best friend Mandy "something isn't right. She isn't happy". She was spinning out of control and desperately needed a break but loved us too much to tell us. As a note to Gaga: I love ya so so so much. You've been my rock these past 8 years and I just wanna say that now it's time for me to be your rock too. Your monsters love you for who you are. You can cry in front of us. You can break down in front of us. You can curse and scream in front of us and we'll love you just as much. I love you monsters.
