I don't know about anyone else but I'm getting kind of sick of Gaga playing the victim act all the time. Every era is starting to sound like a therapy session for her. Change the channel, love, it could be worse. :lolly:

I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

Pop star cries about fame. I'll play a violin for her......The way things are going the last few years, it may not be an issue for her in the near future.

I completely understand your perspective. But there is a reason why so many famous people get mental health issues, and end up overdosing or killing themselves in some other way. Fame is extremely hard to deal with, especially for people who already had depression and anxiety before becoming famous. I don't think any of us could ever understand what its like and I don't think she could have predicted how the negatives aspects of fame would effect her mentally.

I think the hardest part about being famous is being able maintain a sense of your own identity amidst a sea of others people's opinions about who you are or who you should be. I think it would be so easy to completely lose touch with reality and I think that happened to her a few years ago.

There are many different types of hardships that people can face and it doesn't just come down to having a comfortable lifestyle vs struggling to pay rent.

She always talks about how she is thankful for what she has. Its not like she constantly complains about her life. But I am happy that she is being honest about what her life is really like and how she is truly feeling.

I think these are just words. She's always been rich so growing up in a luxurious apartment in manhattan or living life in Malibu mansion doesn't really make that much of a difference.

the only difference is that she became famous and it turnt out she doesn't like it. She wanted to be polarising and wanted to be close with fans so I don't really get why all of the sudden she sais this is not what she wants.

imho this is being ungrateful but on the other hand how can you blame her - she just went too hardcore at the start and then it overwhelmed her

so its cool i get it, but its pity that she is so sad nowadays in interviews and sends out so little energy. She had 3 years off to do whatever she wanted, people go through depression in loliness and fear about making enough for living.

its like children die out of hunger in africa and she is sad and cries during interview because she feels lonely. This is not on.

I'll admit when I first read it I felt very sad. It was clear that this 'regular girl' thing was what's bothering her with her mini-tour appearances and post-election pop up. However, I feel like she's only saying this now because fame the past few years didn't end up the way she wanted it to be. She had no issues with it during her peak when she had 'fame' wrapped around her fingers, and used it to promote her music and  her 'love and kindness' message. As soon as things didn't go her way she flipped and dare I say became weak.

Some things should be kept private IMO. Gaga is doing herself no favors running around crying and reminiscing about the unreachable past, let alone in the middle of an album release. If fame bothers her so much then maybe she should have kept Joanne for her 'family and friends', faded into oblivion and became one of those one hit wonders that occasionally get photographed leaving Starbucks after gaining a few pounds. I'm not even being shady, because this is literally what she's asking for. It certainly seems better than a half-assed album era which feels like the last thing she wants to do right now.

If the people around Gaga truly love her they would talk some sense into her and tell her to snap out of it, this sad bubble she's locked herself into. The glass isn't half empty, it's half full.
