Yes, I felt bad starting it to be honest, because if that is really the case, it's nothing to laugh about. 

But I also think we have just as much reason to believe this is a publicity stunt...

He's definitely having some kind of breakdown, and since he's such a celebrity, we all get to witness this unfold. I don't have much sympathy for him, but I wouldn't wish depression and psychotic crisis upon my worst enemy, so I hope he'll get better.

I don't think it's a publicity stunt at all. The man seems really troubled. This just validated that tbh. I hope for his recovery.

When you're an artist with a clear vision for things, and see how certain things can be even better with your help, you stop becoming or being real. 

At one point, Kanye was working on Madonnas, Rihannas etc. Album. He had this clothing line, his Adidas Shoes, his own Music, his own Visuals. When you then have to cancel things and take priorities, it sucks, because he has all those Ideas that won't happen. He was putting a ton of work on himself without noticing how that is stressing him out.

Now, he also has 'clear' views on things. We obviously don't all agree with them, but for him - It could be sad to see people being mad at you for saying your opinion. He could feel violated and disrespected / humiliated when he sees '#KanyeIsOverParty' on Twitter.

 It was just too much. As a Husband, it must've been also heartbreaking to know the love of your life in fear and danger while you are doing ur job. 

I don't support some things he says, but we shouldn't focus on throwing more hate at him, instead spread love and hope for the best.

In the end, he's a father, husband and an artist.

The lack of votes for "Extreme self-loathing for canceling 'Fame Kills' tour after seeing MR slayage at the AMA's" is disappointing. In all honesty though, I think he's having a mental breakdown and its due to mental illness + situations.

Mental illness. I mean, Kanye has always seemed like a person that says or does things in a very different way than someone who acts "normal". He seems like a person who has a really complicated personality that not everyone understands. I feel like the origin of this is his mental illness, but the stress of the tour and the media probably triggered his breakdown.

I feel bad for him because he's a person who probably can't control the way he feels or thinks, I have never really respected him as a person because he does say some stupid things or seems very pretentious but I do like some of his music. Mental illness is not something to joke about, I hope he gets better for the sake of his family, everyone deserves to be happy, famous people are also humans and not just money machines.

Mental illness primarily, but I think a lot has got on top of him in general recently. Jay blanking him ever since he got married, his $53 million debt, the Taylor Swift phone call scandal, Kim's safety being called into question...which has probably made any existing mental problems worse. A lot of people laugh at him and Kim as a couple but I honestly think he truly loves her and it must hurt to see the love of your life struggle to be accepted by everyone around you and to have it be suggested that she just staged the robbery as a publicity stunt. I think it really shows Jay's true colours that he basically stopped being Kanye's friend after he married her. He doesn't like aligning himself with those he deems beneath him, as does Beyonce. And yet, Kanye's the one who's called big-headed? So, I don't blame him for being a bit of a loose cannon right now. The way he's been ranting suggests there's something more going on than just those problems as well. I hope he gets the help he needs. When he's a husband and father, I think he should be owed some respect.
