Luc 4,776
I wonder how much of this can be attributed to climate change... the climate changes so slowly so a 20 degree difference is really really weird.

Experts in the field of Climate Change said that parts of the world will get hotter and parts will get colder in the years to come. They specifically said that Europe will get colder. Better get some warmer coats, I guess. That sucks, I really like the Mediterranean climate in my country, it really sucks if it's really getting colder

But climate change is affecting the poles way more than the globe ad a whole especially cuz of the jetstream The equator climate is changing the least the closer u go to the poles the more rapid its changing

TF is happening, I'm freaked out by everybody saying it's too hot where they live, here it's the opposite If the situation is not going to get better the gulf stream will stop warming up Europe so.. I'm sure the lack of cold water would mess up the whole stream but warm water should keep providing Europe some nice warm air for a long time, right? 25 minutes ago, Economy said: But climate change is affecting the poles way more than the globe ad a whole especially cuz of the jetstream The equator climate is changing the least the closer u go to the poles the more rapid its changing 20 degrees is extreme, though... I get that ice is white and thus causes less warmth on the earth surface and thus ice melting will cause wamer poles but a rise in temperature this big can't be attributed solely to climate change it indeed differs per area but those differences are still relatively small (like 3 degrees rise instead of 1).. I think next year it will be back to 2015 levels. This is an anomaly

I think next year it will be back to 2015 levels. This is an anomaly I think it may climate change may have only warmed Earth as a whole by 1 or 2 degrees ON AVERAGE but this has caused some increased volatility in patterns... this means temperatures have fluctuated more wildly to the extremes The much smaller differental between the North Pole and equator is weakening the jetstream and its resulting in some very irratic patterns in Northern regions The jetstream being weaker causes the polar mass to spill down more often now creating the "polar vortexs" were getting more frequently in winters now. These are short bursts of really cold weather... But that frigit air that comes from North Pole is replaced by warmer air in the North Pole itself So when the jetstream fails the North Pole now gets ramdom bursts of much warmer air than normal This will be very problematic going forward because the North Pole, the vortexes and the jetstream have been deteriorating quickly in the last 5-7 years 😳 Im not sure how the South Pole is doing in that regard cuz it isnt discussed as much
