Holy hell this looks pretty great, I'm excited!

Also, I'd watch anything with Neil Patrick Harris... My love for Dr. Horrible is strong.

that seems like the perfect example of

"looked good on papers but the result falls short. and flat"

wait? so will all the books be told one episode at a time?

it looks good but I'm not really warming to NPH playing Olaf. Jim Carrey was so good in the film version.

YAAAAAASSS I loved the books, loved the movie and was so disappointed they never made sequels. I remember it was a commercial success, and I was reading that they intended to make it a franchise but plans fell through for several reasons.

Is the girl who plays Violet in the series the same one who played her in the movie? If not, they look SO similar.

It's 2 episodes per book and the first season is 8 episodes, so its the first 4 books. I'm slowly warming up to NPH.

No way that girl is so much older now, like late 20s. This girl is 13 :emma:

It feels a bit too comedic?

Like I understand some parts of the book were highly sarcastic but dark at the same time.

I want it to be darker.

I love this series I hope they do it justice.
