Hey sistren so I recall reading somewhere (but I can't remember where) that Bloody Mary was written during the pre-TFM era and was supposed to be included in TFM. Is this true? I can see it fitting in with TFM so I wouldn't be surprised if it's true.

Also, are there any other songs that were intended for an album but were later put in another one? :)

Always been curious about how production of the song would have been if it was on TFM.

Spoiler

Sorry, grammar.

I think I remember her saying once that she was working on Born This Way and just wanted to create a real 'avant garde song' and kept pushing that it sounded avant garde, so I don't think so! But I could be wrong. It certainly doesn't sound like anything she would've written during post The Fame era either. Things didn't get quite that intricate and dark until BTW really.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

I think that Teeth and DIC could switch and match each others' albums better, tbh

Teeth seems super cajun and bar-style, which fits in on Joanne

DIC is a straight up TFM hit, a dance club bop

I love them both, and I hear a lot of similarities. I just think it's a neat idea :laughga:

Yes, it was written for The Fame Monster.

From my perspective, the song is about Luc Carl when he told her she would die alone rich in a mansion. It was Gaga during her darkest time -- she still loved Luc but was heartbroken by him. Bloody Mary is actually a reference to Luc's car, Bloody Mary.

Yes, yes it was and no living f*ucker will ever leak it.

We will all be dead by the time it is released.

Because everyone who says they have the demo, despite leaking other things, will not leak this.
