Do you have an actual rebuttal though? Evidence to the contrary for example? An actual opinion other than "this can't be true because society says so!"

These are just my beliefs, but they aren't random, generated on tumblr or anything like that, the people that have been studying gender for the last century and who write academic essays, dissertations, research, novels, etc. are the people that inform my opinion, it's radical in the sense that its not common thought, but it doesn't make it any less valid  It's not "nonsense", and its not being "spewed" its being thoughtfully articulated

Believe it or not, two years ago I would have agreed with everything you are saying. I was telling myself that gender was purely a social thing and there was no biological reason for why people of a certain sex tend to behave a certain way (thinking back at the time when I was having arguments with people in real life about that topic makes me want to die of embarrassment ). I guess I've just sort of grown up since then and realized that things aren't true just because I want them to be. And that's what a lot of 'SJW's' fail to do. I hope you didn't get the impression that I'm some redneck bigot because I'm really not, I think that everyone should do what they want as long as they're not hurting anyone. If someone wants to identify as spaghetti then I wish them happiness and luck, but I will most certainly not feed into their delusion and tell them that it's a legitimate thing

I think you are overgeneralizing "social justice movements" and conflating them with people who are what some people refer to as "special snowflakes" on tumblr and calling them all "SJWS"

Some people believe in academia and scholarly writing, research, truth, etc. There are 50, 60 year old academics who write and study race relations, gender, anthropology, sociology, feminism, sex,  discrimination etc. It's not a matter of growing up or believing things are true because you want them to be, there is an entire world of "truth" to this kind of thinking, even if its obscured by over the top behavior. But I'm not talking about that or from those perspectives. "SJW" and "Tumblr" are new creations, the ideas and concepts have been around for centuries   

I think it does a great disservice to non binary people to compare something as non-harmful as "Gender fluid" to "spaghetti"

There are genders out there that people have come up with, both jokingly and seriously that don't make much sense (and we should respect them all as individuals I believe),.. but all Tinder has done is basically said "we recognize that not all people are binary individuals". Most of these "new gender options" are just slight shades and tints of genderqueer. There have been a lot of threads like these on GGD this year and what pisses me off is that people cannot tell the difference between "I am a Banana" and "I am gender queer"; People react every single time someone says "There are more than two genders! Even more than 3!" and the reactions are NOT warranted. It's just transphobia or a refusal to acknowledge that there are more than two genders and that gender and gender identity and gender expression are related but not exactly identical concepts.. This isn't an opinion  I think its so contentious that many don't see it as a fact, but the mountain of evidence is very very clear I think. It's like global warming

Well, I'm definitely not opposed to there being a third gender option for people who don't feel comfortable in either sexes gender role. It's the 'infinite genders' thing that makes it all seem a bit ridiculous and people acting like sex is purely a genital and procreational thing when really it is much more than that. Less than 1% of the population who feel that they don't belong because they're either trans or as you call it 'non-binary' shouldn't try to overthrow that whole concept that was designed by nature and has been working in peoples and animals favor since the beginning of planet earth solely because they are a special case 

I hope you sort of get what I'm trying to say (english is not my first language)

This is incredibly ignorant and also just unintelligent. Science says there are two sexes. Western society invented the 'need' for 2 genders. Lots of cultures throughout history have recognized that there are more than just 2 genders. There isn't logic to your thoughts, just hate and stubbornness, hon.

The entire point is that sex does not imply gender  (at least not always) Sex =/= Gender either, so there is not a 2-2 ratio or anything and there doesn't need to be. 

Also, Non-Binary people aren't "overthrowing" anything  They are just additional evidence of the flaws of a gender binary. 

Nature is not a sentient creature or being, there is no "design", just variation, experimentation, mutation, evolution. Sex works in a "mostly" binary fashion, but gender is mostly*man made. This is the whole point of saying that gender is a social construct, it's constructed. If what we have created is flawed (patriarchy, gender binary, "race" in a sense, etc.) lacks nuance and is inaccurate and harmful, we should fix it, its simple. If there is a flaw in the system, the answer is not to eliminate those who don't fit in, but to question the system. We can and should do better. Besides, all people are harmed in some way by a gender binary (if they live in a society that enforces one, so most of the world ) so its not a matter of scope. Lots of the academics, scholars, writers, theorists, philosophers, etc. behind the idea of "gender" are not even themselves trans or non binary  

The infinite genders thing is related to the theory that gender is performance, and in that mind set, as all people perform their own gender (be it male, female, gender queer, whatever) in different ways from each other. My idea of being and feeling like a "man" is different than yours, and so we all have different ways of expressing, feeling, and thinking about gender. It's variation, and its essentially infinite if that makes sense  If anything, it's acknowledging that 37 different "labels" for genders shouldn't really be necessary, nor should any.
