This won't affect you. At all. Someone elses individuality and gender identity won't affect you AT ALL.

Okay now that I've revisited this thread, and actually watched the video, it makes more sense to me. Many of them are the same thing but worded differently, so that people can choose to word it more blatantly or discreetly, and that's actually pretty cool. For example 'female to male' and 'ftm' mean the same thing, but one is more direct and the other is more like a code word for people who understand the acronym.

OT: I bet most of those "genders" are a mess, and will be terribly ignorant and misleading. 

I remember that some years ago Facebook Argentina added like 80 (yes, 80 💀) possible genders to chose from. The news was heavily advertised as positive and progressive, yet the actual thing was embarrassing. 

Except for "male", "female", "trans male" and "trans female"  NONE of the other options (out of 80 ) were actual genders.  

All of the new terms were actually different words for "gay", "straight" or "bi" (which not only are sexual orientations and not genders at all, but those options were ALREADY available on FB, so it wasn't even something new), some being ridiculously stupid (f*ggot was a gender option 💀). 

It's all the more sad considering all of those terms were chosen by our local gay community. 

Pretty sure this is also tragic, they're probably just sexual orientations with idiotic names.

You have no brain, sorry, you probably have not even checked the list I'm referencing (which is Argentina's Facebook list, not the one mentioned in the OP), yet you have the nerve to call me transphobic.  

I have now, however, checked some of the terms in Tinder's new list. Most of them are stupid and embarrassing.

I think it is absolutely disgusting how some members here have the nerve to call people transphobic for not accepting 973 genders. You are making the experience of real, non-tumblr transgender people look like a joke to everyone else only to push your ridiculous agenda.

I am sorry, but what is a "real" transgender person exactly? Someone who identifies as trans? Someone with an appropriate form of trans ID?? People who identify as anything other than simply male or female are transgender. Your gender identity is yours to own. Don't tell people what they can and cannot identify as. How dare you?

Some of you really do make my stomach turn. I am somewhat disappointed and ashamed to be on this site, quite honestly.
