Am I the only one?

Am I the only one that thought Gaga would have filmed her music videos before the era begun? She would have planned the tour before the era begun? And her performances and looks, before the era begun? I felt like because of all the time she had off, she was preparing everything so she could have churned everything out when the era was in motion? This isn't me complaining, this is me saying I thought Gaga would be on top of it more than she is. Like when she announced Perfect Illusion, they were still editing. Thoughts?

I've never heard of someone filming all their videos beforehand? Except with visual albums like Beyonce. I think its going pretty normal. This is kind of a bump bc of the US election but other than that it seems fine to me

It's definitely running as normal! I just thought Gaga's blackout period would have perhaps seen her working on her visuals prior to the release of the album because of all the mishaps we saw with ARTPOP. I thought she maybe would have planned and shot the videos beforehand? Planned the tour whilst recording the album? I may be reaching because she's been really quiet and I'm assuming she's working away at planning all of these upcoming appearances, so I'm just kinda wondering why she didn't do it before

Not in a billion years! She can't even decide on her singles, nonetheless choose which songs to give the MV treatment before the era started!

I thought the opposite, Joanne era has been feeling very on-the-go, like, she said they had no real 2nd single planned, then A-Yo was promoted heavily because it was popular and then Million Reasons sorta smashed after the Carpool Karaoke and it became a single

She had to make the album?  Her real only "time off" has been like March - August this year and she was with Mark like 24/7 doing the album. Plus they shot Perfect Illusion in August, they did the MET Gala in May, she was filming AHS sometime this year, AND she was auditioning for A Star is Born. I mean they planned a lot too, they got Carpool Karaoke, SNL, AMAs, they had to plan and rehearse all the dive bar shows. They booked the freakin super bowl

I think I'm literally going off what Gaga has given in the past, she's literally shat out a million different things at once, so I don't think I'm being unfair in my judgement of her workload. The Met Gala was an event that she attended, she did an impromptu performance with Mark, nothing elaborate. She was a cameo on AHS, so I'm assuming she wasn't shooting with Ryan for very long. I'm not saying she hasn't been busy, which is what I think you're getting at. I just thought she would have been doing the things I listed simultaneously, we know how she's been in the past.

this. She simply doesn't care. I thought after 3 years a marketing plan, videos, singles, the tour, costumes SOMETHING would have been planned but i guess not

Has Gaga ever followed a plan for an era well? All of her eras (except the first one) have been a bit of a free-for-all. 

First people said the BTW era was messy

Then they said the ARTPOP era was messy. 

And now some people are actually surprised to see it happening with Joanne? Are you sure you're in the right fan base?

I, for one, hope she always does as she pleases. So far it's all suited me well! (Unless she makes a hip hop or rap album next, I may have to take a little break from her lol).
