The way you phrased it made it sound like YOU believed it though, I get your point about a lot of people would read it and believe it, but I still don't know why you yourself put that into your piece in that way. I understand about the Hillary comparison now, thank you.

That's an interesting read. I'm getting tired of people trying to blame Hillary Clinton supporters for the lost, claiming that Bernie would have won. It was refreshing to finally read some facts on the topic. 

Either way, I'm still in denial of Trump's win, although now I'm more worried about the people he's surrounding himself with than him actually being President.

LoL - towards the end of his campaign, the right was even calling him a socialist anymore, but a COMMUNIST instead!!!

i honestly don't even know if sanders would have won the primary even without the rigged system. my grandma (an older democrat) liked all of his ideas but thought he was "dreaming," and i think that reflects the attitude of a lot of older liberal voters.

yeah that argument is totally fallacious imo. although hillary won kind of underhandedly with backing of "the establishment" she was still a far superior candidate than donald trump in terms of consistency and in terms of policy and in terms of personality and temperament. and if you didn't vote or you voted in a battleground state for a 3rd party because of the leaked emails or what i said before and had furthermore originally supported bernie, this whole result is kind of your own fault. this is politics, this is reality, it isn't ever completely clean, ever ever ever.

He would have garnered much more of the vote in the places that Hillary took for granted, and he would have sustained the working middle class. Hillary and the DNC lost because Hillary is a weak candidate that only garnered votes because she wasn't Trump. With Bernie, they would have had someone to vote for, not just against. Bernie won the primaries in places that Hillary look for granted and lost in the electoral college. The DNC shot themselves in the foot on this one, and everyone knows it.

But it doesn't matter, the election is over. The DNC made our bed, and now we have to lie in it.

Blaming people for their thrid party vote is ridiculous, and besides, the electoral college gave Donald the presidency. The popular vote, which handedly went to Clinton, wouldn't have changed much.
