Well technically dabbling into uncharted waters is experimenting... Experimental is not a genre. If All You Ever Do Is Look Down On People, You Won't Be Able To Recognize Your Own Weaknesses. StrawberryBlond 15,032
Well, she can kiss goodbye to all the Asian fans she gained with Red and 1989. Look at how Beyonce's Lemonade album charted in Japan and Korea - it sticks out like a sore thumb against all the top tens listed all over the world and this is a woman who used to have a large Asian fanbase until she abandoned them after the Sasha Fierce era. Rihanna has never been successful in Asia. Same goes for pretty much every urban act. That genre just doesn't really pass over there unless it's a native Asian doing it. And the cultural appropriation accusations will swirl like crazy in the US. Her voice doesn't lend itself to urban music. Whenever she tries to go 'urban' she fails miserably and looks like she's doing a parody. This is a bad idea. I don't see the critics liking her for this either. This might actually be the first album that critics don't praise to high heaven. I'll have sitting with a big bucket for popcorn for this.
Jay.P 2,336
Queen of experimenting. Do you hear that? It's poison.
LePetitGAGABLover 21,234
I usually joke and troll whenever I post "keep it", but this is the first time that I honestly feel that she should delete it or keep it to herself.

shoful 13,304
Can she pull off hip hop? Im just trying to imagine her image for hip hop and i feel like the world will ridicule her look "My name is Dita, I'll be your Mistress tonight..." memomemome 1,482
Somehow I know she loves hip hop. (that backseat freestyle cover?) even her cover made Nicki to choose super bass (bonus track in the album) into single and it got huge. So I'm okay everybody trying something new. I love JnD that blow my mind
