I don't really think that Veganism is the only true way. Considering it's really important to switch to electronic cars and stop outsourcing the planet. Though it's all messy up and not easy to solve. For example humans are depending on oil, because it is used also for medicine. So the best is to stop using petroleum for cars, but more/only for medicine. I think this is were the real problem lays

Food channels are a bigger portion of Methane and CO2 emissions than any of the sources you mentioned above, combined. Veganism isn't the only way to save the planet for sure, but given our current constraints of rising population and energy it takes to maintain livestock, it is the only realistic solutionas of now.

Thank you, this is so incredibly kind. I'm always embarrassed because I am far from the most knowledgeable or the most articulate person, but I do my best and google is my best friend haha. Again, thank you for the kind words, it encourages me to continue to speak up

Some other vegans on here are really incredible with their arguments and much more educated than I am, such as @uo111, @kevinthesheep, and many others I am forgetting!

Edit: Including @Bette Davis @AntiPotCrusader @ThomastheMonster @Born To Slay @Muumisarvinen Not putting any of these names out there for arguments, just as vegans that I know on here that I enjoy seeing

Awww thank you!!! You're so sweet 💕 I try

Not surprised at all.

Was vegetarian for 10 years, and my health was much better.

Started eating meat again cause I thought it would make me feel better (I felt weak at times), but that never happened, I only gained weight :sharon:

I'm going vegetarian again next year TBH (not vegan tho, I like Pizza and Ice Cream, sorry :sis:).

I'm from Argentina, don't know what "daya" is (we got different names for those ingredients, most likely), all I know is that particular vegan cheese I tried was peetty awful :laughga:

The vegan ice-cream was ok tbh, it wasn't bad (but still not nearly as good as actual ice-cream).

What I did liked were the vegan burgers, those were actually good tbh :diane:

In my experience vegan ice cream tastes exactly like the real thing, all my non-vegan friends and family agree. There's a brand called So Delicious that is amazing, hopefully its available in your country, as well as Ben & Jerry's line of vegan ice creams.

Vegan pizza is made in all different kinds of ways, some examples of the way I make it are:

Sauce, veggies, and vegan parmesan on top: http://minimalistbaker.com/how-to-make-vegan-parmesan-cheese/

Sauce, veggies, nutritional yeast, olive oil with garlic, and a little extra salt on top

A garlic and butter sauce (melt butter in pot with garlic, cook until garlic is light brown), onions, peppers, mushrooms and herbs

Sauce, mozzarella cheese (http://www.hotforfoodblog.com/recipes/2015/10/13/margherita-pizza)

Olive oil, garlic, salt and nutritional yeast are your friends when making pizza without cheese, it gives you the fatty, salty umami flavours you are looking for. Every once in a while I buy vegan cheese, like Daiya or Chao but they can be expensive.

Edit: using hummus as a sauce on pizza is also awesome

Daiya is by far the most popular vegan cheese brand among the vegan population, I'd check that out before writing off vegan pizza. I was a big pizza person pre-veganism and was really happy to discover daiya cheese. It tastes like real cheese and I eat it fairly often.

Idk if they have it in ur nation but it's worth looking in it.

Yikes lol, just know you don't have to eat like that as a vegan. You can see a few comments above I posted a ton of recipes, I eat that stuff regularly, not bags of nuts. Though nuts have a lot of benefits.

Yeah if it's been voted the most sustainable I'm guessing it's an amazing lifestyle, it just pained me when she ate! D:

Why do vegans feel the need to push it on other people. Let people live :madge:

This is a study done by scientists, with a focus on environmental sustainability on the diet, nobody is pushing anything onto anyone here.

You don't need to go completely vegan to make an impact in animal's lives or on the environment, making alternative choices every once in a while can help.

Some of us don't want to go vegan in the slightest due to people shoving it on them without remorse. Let people find it themselves.
