This doesnt make trophy hunters any less repulsive. They are sociopathic delusional men blinded by their immense privilege. These billionaires can contribute to the mother ****ing economy in various ways and protect its wildlife. They could be using their money to help protect these animals without blowing their brains out. To justify this in any way is honestly disgusting -- the Trump sons are digusting and so are you. People who actually live there think different. 4 minutes ago, 18 said: is this still true? this article is almost 10 years old WHAT IF WE BANNED TROPHY HUNTING IN AFRICA? "Many folks, at least among the conservation-minded, seem to agree that trophy hunting isn’t exactly a good model of animal welfare. But many also acknowledge that it can be, if executed properly and with oversight and strict quotas, a useful wildlife management tool. Hunting may be among the few useful mechanisms for controlling ungulate populations that would expand with abandon given the relative absence of natural predators. And in other places, the fees derived from legalized trophy hunting can fund important conservation efforts on the ground. As WWF researcher Robin Naidoo points out in a new paper in the journal Conservation Biology, the Western opposition to trophy hunting is a bit ironic given how much funding legal hunting generates for wildlife management and conservation in North America." http://conservationmagazine.org/2015/10/what-if-we-banned-trophy-hunting-in-africa/ "I am the world's greatest person that does not want to let people into the country."—US President Donald J. Ahri Under You 410
A lot of people on here say they want to leave for Canada because of Trump. It's ironic to me because they are also people against hunting and don't realize how common it is in Canada. I was there for a year and every single person I met hunts (at least in the area I was in).

Most of the GGD crowd thinks that's different from hunting in Africa, because????? No reason really, probably because of The Lion King and The Jungle Book and Tarzan or something like that. Most of GGD also thinks factory farming is fine since cows and pigs aren't exotic. What're you gonna do?
