I have yet to hear an intelligent argument defending him. I ask all of my Trump friends and all they say is "Uhhhhhh... he's gonna do better. He is better." He spread racist, hateful, divisive rhetoric throughout his campaign - to the point where David Duke gleefully bragged that Trump is saying what he has been saying for decades and has courted support from the KKK and neo-nazi groups. Reporters who actually went to his rallies to interview people say that, although not all Trump supporters where like this, it wasn't hard to find people at his rallies willing to sprout the most offensive, conspiratorial, racist, islamophobic things we all heard. This man spent over a year feeding fuel into a growing blaze and now that it has developed into a bushfire he has thrown a bucket of water onto it. It's too little to late.
