Because that's not life in the public or private sector. There are guidelines and expectations and there are consequences and repercussions to crossing those lines.

Hopefully one day those kinds of punishments will be aborted. People should be free to express themselves, no matter what positions of power they have, and not have to worry about censorship from the tyrannical left.

Hopefully not, as all that would do is give a green light to bigots and weaken the US, not strengthen it.

Ah well, can't win them all :staymad: Maybe one day we'll finally live in a Brave New World type of society where people like me are the norm :queenga:

I certainly hope not and thankfully that's not how a society like the US works, nor is it how the private sector works. Norms of civility and tolerance are part of what makes the US the country it is.

"Tolerance" only if they think and act the same you do, please don't forget that little anecdote

Nope, not at all. There are many people in my life who don't think and act as I do and that's fine, but if they are going to prey upon or discriminate against minorities and those who don't have the advantages they have, then that crosses a line for me....a line that I cannot support.

However, his comment about Mexicans bringing over "crime, drugs and rape" could have gotten him prosecuted. We've seen more violence and prejudice be enacted on the hispanic community as a result of his speech and it absolutely passes these six identifiers.

Nope, they would not have. He didn't attack Mexicans as a group. And frankly, it doesn't matter, because Canada's restrictions on freedom of speech would be unconstitutional in America, and would be struck down by their Supreme Court.

lmao So however you want live is the standard for freedom? Regardless of logical rules that are in place to ensure the safety of their people? Amazing.

If my daily activities would result in jail then yeah, that country is not a free country in my opinion :nails: is that unreasonable?

In France we have a law that make hate speech illegal.

I heard many folks in the US calling my peoples "not really free" because of this law...
I personally don't need the freedom "to encourage others to hate on a group/person".

If it's used to censor every damn thing you say HELL YEAH that's taking free speech away but if it's applied correctly I think it's a great thing to avoid hate campaign/bullying.

I agree with her on the electoral college. It's outdated and should have been done away with years ago. However, while hate speech is horrible, you cannot enforce laws that move us into thought police territory.

NO.

Some of you people call "bullying," "xenophobia," "flame bait," at EVERYTHING!

With the next generation being spineless PC culture advocates, I can only imagine how many people would be jailed for an innocent comment.

Gaga can try to take out her frustration on the world in the form of "positive messages" because she can't handle being criticized for screwing around her career the past FIVE years where everything is someone else's fault.

But this is a terrible idea.

NEXT!
