Born To Slay

If she puts out an awesome video, performs at a major award show with a stand out performance, has a 69 cents discount and a huge radio deal first week, she could possibly debut at number one. She might still need to cheat tho depending on the week.

She has the music this era to have hits but she needs to promote the hell out of it.  Not just going to to radio stations and bars.  I mean HYPE IT UP a lot like she did for Born This Way.  This is the time to over hype.

I'd love to see how DIC is received by the GP. If there is a killer video to go with it I think it would have a shot.

I think Million Reasons has potential. Depends on how things go from the AMAs onward. The public adores it, but I hope they didn't wait too long after Carpool to release it. It may have needed that momentum to propel it to a high spot on the charts.

I honestly could've seen A-YO hitting #1 if it were the lead. I love PI, but something about it wasn't resonating with the GP. I think it was probably the vocals. They're absolutely amazing, but I think they're the harshest on the album, which may have been a turn off since no one was expecting unedited vocals on a pop record of hers. A-YO is less abrasive vocally and represents the album's sound way more accurately, imo. But what's done is done. No sense in lingering on the past.

ummm didn't perfect illusion hit no.1 and wasn't Joanne no.1 in like 60 countries?????

That was iTunes. The OP is talking about the actual Billboard Hot 100. PI peaked at #15.

well all she needs is a feat song, with Katy Perry, Rihanna or Justin Bieber and a solo version of the same song (like Sia), the song needs to be produced by Max Martin with RedOne, she can make a Remix of the Song with Diplo or Calvin Harris and she needs to have a 69 cents discount, perform it at SuperBowl and Grammys

I fear not.

And I was watching to some of her old interviews from TF/TFM and compared to now, she just didn't take herself too seriously before. Now, and it began at BTW (the moment when she started to descrease a little, and the worst with ARTPOP), she just take herself too seriously. It's not necessarly a bad thing, but she should be more ''fun'' and chill ( I don't speak about the subject of her songs but her way of being, and in her artistrie) like she was at the behgining. She was cool, now she's ''annoying'' (don't know how to explain).

Because now, with Joanne, she seems to be ''too good for pop'' in a way, and it's not a good behavior for succes and even for good music.

We will see. But I don't see DIC being a hit. PI was the real hit off Joanne and..

And moreover Lady Gaga was a full package concept when she was on top, she told it herself : good music - fashion - video - live perf - appearence - is Lady Gaga. But now.. well there's just good music and live. It's not Lady Gaga as she was marketed, and as people loved and knew her.

I agree on so many points here but DIC can be a hit with some flirtation rap from lil Wayne or rickross then a fitting Bollywood themed video. Ultimately Gaga needs her aestatics back like full on! She doesn't need to dress weird when she goes out for events but she needs to take Gaga to each stage
