Anything can happen but sadly, I think not.

I'd rather not hope and be bookmarked wrong than keep hoping

She needs to ****ing reinvent herself into something powerful

ie. Madonna - Confessions On A Dance Floor

the only reason Madonna wasnt #1 in the US for Hung Up was because it came after American Life. Unless Gaga has a super politically aggressive album targeting the downfall of America then she should be in the clear for this reinvention

"My name is Dita, I'll be your Mistress tonight..."

#1? No.

Moderately successful as in not flopping? Yes, if she releases a meaningless party bop the GP wants to hear and starts caring enough to actually promote it and not cancel the performances :reductive:

With gaga streaming kinda low its quite longshot. Although I kinda hopeful for a yo or million reasons.

If so I think it will be sleeper hit. Like Sia. Sia when hit #1 her song even peaked at #9 in streaming but she got the radio momentum right. So it's about building momentum in radio.

people's perception of Lady Gaga is really damaged after Joanne. Joanne isn't made to chart well, once Gaga releases the EP of all the RedOne songs people will eat it up. Everyone misses Gaga and want her to dominate the charts again, we wouldn't have gotten all that criticism for PI if people didn't want a Gaga bop, they would've just ignored it if they were done with Gaga. Her last "big" hit was Applause, and that did pretty decent with streaming, even in the time when Gaga was getting over exposed. We haven't seen Gaga's full potential in the streaming world yet. She can if she wanted to, but the only thing we have to fear is if Gaga will release chart toppers or do more Joanne and C2C albums.

She's gonna make whatever music feels right to her and she isn't releasing "the" EP with RedOne's songs on it :smh:

It all depends on the effort she does

with a real good promo, radio friendly track (lets say MR or DIC) and an iconic vide, i think she can

if she promotes like she did in the past she could..

but we can see from this era that her and her team don't seem to do it anymore..

I hate to say it, but Gaga will never be the force that she was in 2010 when she rolled out hit after hit.

The music industry has shifted. It went from sales in 2011- to YouTube/streaming in 2012 and present, the time where Gaga took a hiatus and got left behind. Now she has less subscribers than her peers and is being viewed much less than the basic Pop stars of today.

In summary, Gaga got left behind in the change. I just hope it is not too late to catch up.

In my messy era.

I fear not.

And I was watching to some of her old interviews from TF/TFM and compared to now, she just didn't take herself too seriously before. Now, and it began at BTW (the moment when she started to descrease a little, and the worst with ARTPOP), she just take herself too seriously. It's not necessarly a bad thing, but she should be more ''fun'' and chill ( I don't speak about the subject of her songs but her way of being, and in her artistrie) like she was at the behgining. She was cool, now she's ''annoying'' (don't know how to explain).

Because now, with Joanne, she seems to be ''too good for pop'' in a way, and it's not a good behavior for succes and even for good music.

We will see. But I don't see DIC being a hit. PI was the real hit off Joanne and..

And moreover Lady Gaga was a full package concept when she was on top, she told it herself : good music - fashion - video - live perf - appearence - is Lady Gaga. But now.. well there's just good music and live. It's not Lady Gaga as she was marketed, and as people loved and knew her.

Doubt it but she can have another top 10 hit.  She needs to play her cards right though.

Promote the single A LOT.

Pick the right single.

Put on eye catching performances.

Have a great music video directed by an actual music video director.
