Michelle is an Obama too, but I know what you mean. It just feels a little condescending though. Voting for the first female president because you like their husband and think he would guide her to to a good job feels more than a little icky. I wouldn't want to vote for a president who has to rely on their spouse to help them run the country. There are women with experience who are able and willing to lead the country, Michelle is very charismatic and very intelligent. If she wanted to run for public office that would be great, but it's a leap to go from first lady to president without any experience in office. LuMetal 68 Posted November 11, 2016 Share Posted November 11, 2016 dems need to run a liberal leaning man. swing the culture back to the liberal/non-sexist side and then you're prepared to put a woman up as the nominee again and have her accepted. as horrible as it sounds, i think running a woman again in 4 years is dangerous it will be another decade before we see another chance unless its a republican woman in 4 years who runs against trump after a disastrous presidency(not a sure thing) and can capture the vote of reps and dems together. of the list, i dont see any viable options tbh Upset the Established Order.
