So, since Bernie lost the nomination, that should rule him out for 2020 by your logic. 

He's a loser, who couldn't even beat the "worst choice EVAH". He wasn't well liked enough to even beat Hillary. He lost to the loser. Two poor choices for the nomination. 

What we needed was some asshole business MAN, who would cuss and assault women, but claim to be religious and who would bring the rural rednecks out to vote. An outsider who knew how to throw out dog whistles to let the white folk know that he was sending all those brown people back to where they come from...cuz they don't belong in our white America. (Without actually saying that, wink wink)

Again, I didn't turn my state red by voting for who I believed in. If there was a better candidate, I would've voted for them. I don't trust Hillary to run our government. On September 22nd of this year, Trump released a press statement that contained this pledge:

Religious liberty is enshrined in the First Amendment to the Constitution. It is our first liberty and provides the most important protection in that it protects our right of conscience. Activist judges and executive orders issued by Presidents who have no regard for the Constitution have put these protections in jeopardy. If I am elected president and Congress passes the First Amendment Defense Act, I will sign it to protect the deeply held religious beliefs of Catholics and the beliefs of Americans of all faiths.

He lost because the DNC was rigged. Seriously, fck off. Every single Democrat the support HRC is to blame for giving Trump the White House. I hope you are happy because its YOUR FAULT for ruining America. Its YOUR FAULT people's right will be stripped away. EVERYTHING rests on your shoulders. You can stick your stupid little fingers in your stupid little ears and pretend to be the victim all you want or claim that Americans are racist scum, but the fault likes with you. You made your flea infested bed and now you get to lay in it for the next four years and SUFFER the consequences of your pathetic support of a flawed corrupted candidate.

I think it makes sense. Smaller parties might retain their unsuccessful leader but if the main parties lost an election, their leader would be replaced so quickly

That's interesting because in America main party canditate on both sides often go on serve for decades in government and maybe even run again.

Yeah, but during the general (okay after September and for the most part) supported her and tried to make myself like her because she was the alternative to Trump. Now that That's over, I don't need to do that anymore. She's always made me uncomfortable and now I can distance myself from her (unless she becomes the nominee again, in which case, ****)

The only people whose fault it is are those who knew that Hillary was their only chance of progressive ideas being passed and still voted against Hillary for Donald, Third Party, or didn't vote. (Or like, voted for Trump based on faulty beliefs that he was some kind of non-establishment candidate #Gotcha )

I know ya'll think Whispering is some kind of pro-Hillary shill or whatever, but they have repeatedly pointed out to you that Bernie sanders failed to acquire the minority vote. That is just the truth  Would funding and help from the DNC have changed that? Possibly, but the fact of the matter is that the pedestal that you put Bernie Sanders on is unrealistic. Not every liberal, not every progressive person saw him and thought he was a good candidate, many thought many of his actions were unrealistic, naive, etc. Some people actually aren't "that" progressive, some people are more centrists, and some people are pragmatists. They didn't see Hillary as the worst candidate, they saw her as inspirational, motivating, intelligent, and highly qualified. I don't know why people can't admit this. It's common sense to me  

While polls showed him possibly winning the general, I don't think it would have been that easy. Even being a more inspiring figure than Clinton, general elections are hardly ever won with super far left ideas, as much as we wish they would. Atheists don't typically ever win anything public office related, and neither do socialists   (Not that he was either of those, but it wouldn't be hard to spread that he is to the GP; The GOP didn't take him seriously, so they never tried. They only ever started to towards the end, but even then it was like whatever.)

I'm playing Devil's advocate. I've always admired Hillary Clinton, but I easily voted for Bernie Sanders in the primary because his policies lined up with mine more (which makes sense because I'm a radical socialist-leaning feminist  ) That being said,  I don't understand why it is so hard to see past this upset and at least base our reactions on the truth
