If she can't beat Donald after this campaign, then she's simply not a great candidate. I believe this election will (hopefully) trigger a "reinvention" of sorts of the Democratic party. As an undeniable "liberal" my fingers are crossed very hard that in 2020 we see a new kind of Democratic party that is truly revelatory. Even on CNN the day after the election, the talking heads were acknowledging that this "stunt" of putting Hillary, Bill, and Obama on stage together as a unified front may have cost her the election, because it gives the perception that a vote for Hillary is a vote for the "Washington elite" (which clearly, voters did not want). When the First Amendment Defense Act, which would explicitly authorize discrimination against LGBT people, is signed by Trump and takes affect in your red religious state of North Carolina, you should be very proud.
