But at what point does diplomacy fail and you have to fight? If Hitler rose to power democratically, do we have to unify behind him and support him for the sake of democracy and healing? Or do we resist and fight him? I'm not saying Trump is as bad Hitler, but imo Trump is bad enough that it's hard for me to choose between "unity" and "protest" right now. Part of me is ready to turn my back on a certain segment of Trump supporters right now, and that's a really dark place for me. Besides, isn't protesting a big part of being American?
