I searched what "sanctuary city" city was, it sounded kinda weird. I do not know why a city would take a decision to not allow to police to ask about people's immigration status. In my country, they would be caught easily because many info is shared with police and gendarmerie, so any illegal immigrant who goes to hospital, or checks-into a hotel, or get criminal record checked via driving license at a police search would get caught. Honey, legal people don't go the hospital. While it is now illegal to do anything without health insurance, going to a hospital is still last resort as there is a good chance your insurance only pays up so much before you're paying out of pocket. it is literally cheaper for me, if I have a limb cut off tio: Buy a round trip ticket to London, get my my surgery in London, rest there at their hopsital, and fly back, And I'm doing all my flying first class. We need to do more than things online. Voting once every 4 years is the BARE MINIMUM. Signing petitions is only one step above that. We need to put our time, money, and effort where our mouths are. The things we talk about online? The things we sign petitions for? We need to be finding ways to be a PART of them in our lives. Whether that means volunteering every week or for an hour every couple months, or donating money from every paycheck or a couple bucks whenever we get the chance, we need to do more.
