I was far too young to be aware of Madonna's 80's work and it's a bit too pop for me. Though Express Yourself and Oh Fathercame to be two of my all time favourite singles. Erotica, Bedtime Stories, Ray of Light and Confessions are absolutely sublime and classic albums, they were game changers in their time and for me personally but currently I'm loving MDNA and Rebel Heart because I really enjoy when Madonna goes contemporary and embraces the trends which is a very unpopular opinion and not shared within Madonna's fandom. I couldn't care less about her working with unknown producers and sounds which so many seem so hung up on. I have an unconditional love for her music. It may be one of Madonna's messiest albums, at least in my opinion, but it has some quality bops.
