He held rallies for Prop 61 in California and was featured in television, radio and print advertisements for the campaign. It was ultimately defeated by about 8 percentage points. He was supported and campaigned for "ColoradoCare" in the state of Colorado which would have implemented universal health care, one of the cornerstones of his campaign, in the state. It lost by an incredibly large 80-20% margin. How in the world can his supporters proclaim that he would have won when his policies were so soundly rejected, even in liberal California?
