I'm proud of her standing up against this terrible election, however there is some truth about what You have said here. Nothing is really black or white in this world

Thank you

But why would I be pressed? I have no reason to be, I did not support Hilary, I'm glad she did not gert elected, I love Joanne, I have no reason to be pressed, many of people have said this to me, and I suppose it's easy to brush me off and being "Pressed". selling 100, 000 WW isn't flopping? Don't get me wrong the music industry isn't great, but these are poor numbers, if she put as much passion into her career as she did Hilary there wouldn't be a problem, anyway that wasn't the main point. That is just my opinion, like I said earlier in the thread, this is my opinion, essentially it means nothing, I'm not from the US. But I'm glad people are getting that "pressed" over me I guess.

Except she sold 314,000 copies in its first week :toofunny: 104,000 are for the second week and those are good numbers... you obviously dont even know about how charts work so yeah keep your unwanted opinion for yourself, you seem ignorant lmao

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

Thank you, I'm glad you can see where I am coming from, I know I am still on this website / forum but I have been taken back by all this, everyone see's my view as a personal attack and I can see why people think this but I am so disappointed, and I'm not sure if you was being sarcastic in some points but I wish she hadn't done this because the GP so to speak, are hating on her now, saying exactly what I'm saying, like, "Oh she's got a new album out hasn't she... sounds about right". The speech for me just reeked. I feel like she's trying so hard to be seen a an "icon", posing with that sign on the truck, it just does not sit right with me at all, it feels false. This was in my opinion, for her own personal gain. That is what I think.

No I wasn't being sarcastic at any turn. Gaga’s entire ethos at this point, as a person and an artist, is pretty much an empty platitude. Intellectually she’s not much greater than the likes of Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, and Lena Dunham, whom she was sitting with last night. Yeah, I'm on this website too, but only out of habit at this point and to see the absurd reactions to the election. Gaga was my go-to popstar in middle school and high school (a time I might add, to my credit, in which she did appear to be more intelligent and genuine, and was more creatively ambitious) but I’ve been outgrowing her for a while now as I learn more about music and people and the world, and the good thing about these once in a generation events such as this election is that they can bring things to light and help to speed up the maturation process.

She does and always has wanted to be an icon at every turn, but her actions that manifest out of that desire aren't born out of some calculated falseness - if they were they might actually be more successful - but instead a fundamental falseness and lack of insight and originality. All I’ll say is this: The only reason her appearance at the Hillary rally got press coverage and social media attention to begin with is because she wore a Michael Jackson outfit that also looked like a Nazi uniform. So, in simpler terms, the only reason she got any attention was because of the outfit she wore and the fact that she was aping a legend. And that's really the story of her entire career isn't it.

Clearly I do. You are obviously focusing on the one thing you can actually back up. I'm really not an ignorant person, take a look at yourself, you're ignorant to an opinion different to yours.

Even though I am terribly sad today. That is the Gaga I've always been here for, the strong fighter in tough, tough times.

I only cared when you said joanne was flopping to attempt and prove your point :rip: The rest of your original post was nonsense not even worthy of being dignified with a response which is why i ignored it

You are very good with words, this is exactly my point I am trying to make. Yes it is the story of her career. She talks about her "original moments" and how she's doing what no ones else is doing but her actions speak louder than words, it feels so empty to me. When she shouted "black lives matter" I threw my head in my hands and was cringing.  Also her with the "love trumps hate" sign. I just did not feel real, if it did I wouldn't have a problems, the crux of it all is, she is trying so hard to been seen as an icon. I can never imagine Britney doing this. When you look at it, that's all Gaga is , another singer like Britney, Gaga is no better, she might be a better vocalist but that's as far as it goes, Gaga has let this go to her head big time, she really isn't that important or influential, obviously.

Right. Yes, you were wrong, we know it #GodBlessYou 💙

See? everything has a bright side: Trump's victory and GaGa's opinions regarding it, are causing all the good people in this site to stick to her even closer :diane:

Awful humans never had a thing in common with GaGa or her message, glad to see them leaving, it'll hopefully be for good, she deserves better :golfclap:

She knew this will happen though, and she rised her voice anyways, because it is what she felt was right. She's my kind of people, I would have acted exactly the same way.

Being liked is ok, but being true to yourself is priceless :queenga:
