Music 15,215 Posted November 9, 2016 Share Posted November 9, 2016 i think it's interesting considering many voted for Trump because he publicly and unashamedly expressed similar controversial thoughts that many Americans had been debating; whether it be racist, misogynistic, dividing of nations, xenophobia etc.. it kind of reminds me of Pauline Hanson (Australian Politician) who stirred a lot of controversy with her views on Indigenous Australians, Asians etc.. declaring that they "ruined" aspects of live; like employment & governmental benefits. it's this fear-driven route that Trump has used and it really made people want to follow him. it's just astonishing though. They basically threw away their vote on someone they knew had no chance of winning. Despite some third-party candidates possibly being better choices, in reality, none would've won.
