true. unfortunately if congress continues to hold the majority in both the house and the senate, considering how much republicans (and even democrats in the electorate) dislike or outright hate her, i don't see this being by any means an easy task

I believe the Dems will take back the senate. I could be wrong on the count though. But yes, Hillary needs to prove to everyone that she can get stuff done without promising it. There will definitely be a double standard on her, but if she stays busy that won't be a problem.

Hillary really needs to get **** done within the first 6 months of her presidency. She can't afford to go 4 years with dismal approval ratings and whatnot. She has to stick with the issues she promised.

Agreed. She can at least be held accountable and, if she fails, the democratic establishment would lose more credibility.

With Trump, all rhyme or reason goes out the window. He has no credibility already. He isn't afraid of losing anything at all.

When you have two shitty candidates, it only makes sense that people would feel proud.

Clinton is everything people hate about the political establishment.

Trump is everything people hate about the Billionaire class.

It's a lose-lose either way.

- We have 1 shitty candidate.

- Clinton is everything some people have been made to hate about the political establishment.

- People don't hate Trump for being a faux-billionaire, but for who he is as a human being:
A compulsive liar and a fraud whose utter lack of conscience has already caused great harm to our democracy.

- Trump's platform is to revitalize and perpetuate the very worst of America: white supremacist capitalist patriarchy. Clinton's platform is the most progressive Democratic platform in history, with Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders on board.

This is the antithesis of a lose/lose election. The choice could not be more clear.

There's nothing harder for people to do than admit they were fooled.

i hope so. i swear the republican tactics in congress are going to go down in the history books as deplorable i mean this will be an important and even often referred to (and maybe even studied) era in the future considering we have the first black president and (potentially) the first female president of the US consecutively.

If Trump wins tomorrow, My faith in humanity will never be restored again :madge:

So yeah, not proud of America (Though I've really never been :emma: )

Once again, not everyone thinks like you.
