Lol I dance to this as I getting ready in the morning. Lol my gf's cats just look at me like "dear god just stop please. You're embarassing yourself" lol. Lol sometimes all 4 of them just stare at me like "I've never seen this much stupid in one person" lol

I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you

Marry The Night whenever I feel anxious or depressed.

And Heavy Metal Lover speaks to me because it's really a pretty deep love letter disguised by these in-your-face kinky sex verses.

Nice.

It's a close race between Marry The Night, Hair, Bad Kids, Scheisse and Born This Way

Born This Way is my favorite album of all times, it honestly means so much to me. Aside from the fact that it is  a masterpiece :whitney: it also made me pull through many things in life and the funny part is that it is still an album that I "turn to" whenever I am having a bad day. I feel like I cant thank her enough for making this album, it had such a positive effect on me and I believe many others can relate to it. Born This Way has been sort of like a "friend" to me all these years, and I never got tired of it. I can go on talking about this for hours. That being said, the song I relate to most on btw is Marry The Night. it is scary how I feel like every word was written to describe my life. And the video....let me not get started cause it is my favorite video of all times and the fact that Gaga herself directed it makes me love it even more. I always watch it when I feel lost and hopeless. Sorry for the essay :lana:

Lol totally ok. I tend to write essays too lol. The MTN video is extremely personal for me especially the clinic scene in the beginning. Everybody else was debating what she was trying to say with that scene but I knew right away. It was like she was speaking to me during that scene. I know that sounds cheesy but it's true. When gaga wrote "hair", it was like she had read my diary. I know this may sound cheesy but the bond we share is unlike any other. It's like she knows what we're trying to say without us ever opening our mouths.

Yes! That is exactly what I was trying to say but seems like you are way more articulate than I am. It often feels cheesy when put into words but yeah thats what it is.

Hahahaha nice. My grandma asked why I wasn't sending my daughter to catholic school. I love my daughter too much to subject her to school uniforms that don't let her express herself. The "neon sock" incident that happened to me in jr high is still traumatizing to me lol. Lol she was so excited when she got eyeglasses because that meant she could pick something that expressed who she was. She picked the quirkiest most gaga eyeglasses ever. I was so proud haha

The scene in the mtn video where she just loses it and has a complete meltdown always breaks my heart. You can crucify me for saying this but I'm 99.9% sure that the clinic scene was her way of telling us she had an unplanned pregnancy and she chose to terminate it because "I'm gonna be a star". That was her way of justifying it. She didn't want to but if she wanted to "make it" she had to. After she receives the call that she was dropped from her label, she just has a meltdown because not only did she lose her unborn child, she also lost her career. There's been a lot of speculation about that's why she's so maternal with us. We represent the child she lost.Abortion doesn't end when you walk out of the clinic. It lasts for life. I still regret mine ever day

Hair. I don't even know why, but that year I actually cried quite often. I would watch Gaga performances of Hair and cry. The backing vocals are on another level and it brings me to heaven every time.

I think the album as a whole and Gaga being who she is helped me come out as one of the first people from my school (at 14-15 years old, gradually), and now even 13-year olds are already coming out at this high school.

I never got that deep emotional connection to Born This away that apparently everyone else did, but I always get major feels listening to TEOG.
