Albums you'll never forget listening to for the first time

Definitely BTW. It's one of the very very few albums that makes me cry. It's an extremely personal album for me. "Hair" still makes me cry to this day because I can relate to it so much. I went to catholic school and we had school uniforms. I refused to wear the school issued white socks and would always wear neon colored socks. I remember sister Josephine (who taught 8th grade English) would ask me why I rebelled so hard against the white socks. They weren't just socks to me. They were my identity. They were the one thing I could change to make myself stand out. By denying me the ability to wear my neon socks, it felt like I was being denied of who I was

I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you

The thing now is that in digital/streaming era everything feel the same :/

Although some of em released on certain time in life.

That's maybe why I prefer physical if I do love the album

I don't really have a good memory about listening albums for the first time but Joanne leak first listen will stay with me for a time. :giggle:

It was 12 midnight in my country when it leaked and I was stunned, sobbing and gagging at the middle of the night. I only slept for two hours that night 'cuz Come To Mama and Hey Girl slayed me so bad.

I felt so dizzy when I went to school the following day. I can't even recover. :deadbanana:

Maybe Beyonce self titled, I remember in iTunes it was everywhere. I look at all the YouTube clips like whoa whoa whoa :excited2: this is damn sick

The Fame could be one.

Radiohead In Rainbows

Hmmmm. Linkin Park Hybrid theory? That was in Elementary school when everything still in cassettes. That's great, until I accidentally clicked rec button and make some part of the cassette recorded :toofunny:

I wouldn't say a specific album, but I remember really well the first times I heard Applause and Perfect Illusion. I remember listening to those 30-second leaks of Joanne more than the album, guess I kinda spoiled it for myself.

ANTI?!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that album, but that was a major grower for me. When I first heard it I was worried, similar to Lemonade, but i grew to love those albums a lot.

I remember listening to ARTPOP for the first time after school, so vividly, after first listen I loved MANiCURE and ARTPOP and thought Swine could take over the world and be the new gangnam style, oh how wrong I was lol. And I don't think I'll ever forget listening to Joanne in the car for the first time coming home from Liverpool. I was slayed but my friends were complaining about it saying she is shouting etc but I blanked their negativity.
