I'd even say that Angel Down is my least favourite on the normal album too. Not saying I find them to be bad songs, I love the whole album. I just find Angel Down a bit too "Lennon" and literal in its delivery - feels more theatrical/tribute than a new Gaga track if it makes sense... THEGERMANotta 19 Posted November 6, 2016 Share Posted November 6, 2016 Grigio Girls It's not a bad song by any means (it's quite monotonous and missing an emotional climax though), but kinda hard to get into for a (straight; just for the record) guy, just like a few of her other songs I only listen to because of their catchiness. BUT... I'm aware of the story behind it and how much it means to Stefani and will pray for Sonja and everyone who's praying for her, of course!
