I'm sorry, I just think it was the wrong album opener, wrong production, wrong sound for the song. It could have worked with a different beat/production. But GG is even worse. I appreciate her meaning behind it, but maybe it would have been nice if she recorded the song and presented it to Sonja as a private gift. Not putting it on the actual album. It's a very good song and I enjoy it (the guitar gives me life), but it's the one that I like the least. Sinner's Prayer - AMAZING LYRICS, BUT... The instrumentation could be re-worked and improved more, especially on the chorus. I feel like a more sensual, Lana Del Rey-esque slow version would make the meaning and feel of the song more effective. Angel Down (Work Tape) too but c'mon it's just a demo I still listen to all of them though.
