Harry 26,836
Idk. I wonder if everyone saying it would be a hit is talking objectively or not. I like the song (though one of my least favourites from Joanne) but I can't picture it catching on with the GP. Like it or not, most young people would rather listen to modern sounding songs - yes, like Closer. No matter how much we talk about how trashy it may be. Also singing about world peace and harmony is not "cool", either. I really can't see the average fifteen year olds around my town blasting Come To Mama. I'd actually argue that it's one of the least likely tracks to be a hit.
TropicOfCANCER 6,292
i doubt it. aside from the fact this is the type of music that meghan brought back to radio 2 years ago, it was the least downloaded song of all the album tracks during release week. the public isn't here for it. Dominic 11,922
As a Christmas bop potentially but I don't think so. I can appreciate it's a good song and I can understand why some would love it however i can't see many demographics requesting it or buying it meaning no hit. There's potential for DIC, JW, AD and MR to become commercially smash hits though. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it
