Vocally she has been screaming so much lately that it was just refreshing to hear her sing gently and play around with the melody of the song. Her abilities as a guitarist are about as clumsy as her abilities as a pianist. I'm fine with her using instruments mostly as props. The guitar is the new disco stick. Nothing revolutionary, but lovely. I rewatched it and I now think it was lovely too. She just needs a bit more practice to feel comfortable singing and playing at the same time. The users with whom you can have a meaningful conversation - not about slaying, charts and makeup. "OH she needs to slay crazy fashion and choreography!" IT'S really annoying. I think what she's doing now is really valuable, she's definitely on the right track. She needs to find a comfortable balance between her artistry and creating epic, larger-than-life projects like Born this way.

The integrity with Joanne and c2c are very valuable to her legacy.

juicyjuicy 1,985
Wow. One of the most honest and heartfelt performances I've seen from her. I absolutely love this.

I was expressing my innocent opinion that such trash belongs somewhere else, if anywhere at all. Well to be quite blunt about it Gaga (pre-fillers and facial manipulation) is someone I find absolutely gorgeous, but with these fillers and that hairstyles she looks like she's in her 40s. Those fillers did the opposite of what they're meant to do, just like they f*cked up Kim Kardashian's once stunning face. Gaga is by no means ugly and she isn't even ugly now, but this isn't a flattering look. If you prefer her now then that's totally fine I love it, but I prefer when she looks her age. I saw no lies in your comment I swear for a fanbase of love and acceptance we attack each other the most on here. GGD better get used to it, it's a new VERY drastic era and there's bound to be different opinions about everything. The whining and SJW acts need to be dropped. On-Topic: I haven't been keeping up with her Japan promo trip lately but I've been seeing her snaps and she's so cute.

alffy74 53
This fanbase needs to mature honestly!!! If some of you are not getting that she's changed direction, not only musically, but also in the way she presents herself in this era, then you're going to be disappointed. the title cut is one of the simplest yet most wonderful songs on the album, and dare I say of her repertoire. The melody is so beautiful, especially in that chorus that you want to repeat indefinitely. Great performance. Can't wait for more performances of this gem

Sometimes she slams on the keys and misses notes but overall her piano playing is good. I think so too. Isn't she even a classically trained pianist? I've started playing digital piano about 2 years ago (I'm on the verge of upgrading and replacing my Yamaha P-115 with a Roland FP-90) and... well... I wish my abilities were at least half as "clumsy" as hers. Are there any videos of her playing classical piano without singing?
