DrewStevens 5,249
But she looked so out of place the whole performance. Beyonce is very talented and quite versatile but Country is definitely not her genre. Daddy Lessons is a good song but let's not pretend she is responsible for it. And why bring Gaga into this? Joanne has only one true country song and I'm pretty sure most country lovers would take it over Daddy Lessons any day.

freebit 6,240
So, they have to randomly discredit another artist to prop up another one. It's a constant, annoying , but expected pattern when these writers want to write a thinkpiece about a female pop star. Also, this is from the same writer who claimed Joanne has too many "gimmicks." Leaf 2,429
Neither of them can "claim" a genre, and I don't think there's any bad blood between either.

Both albums are somewhat inconsistent in sound but Lemonade has better musical segues and tonal transitions from track to track.

Sister 9,907
I am not a great fan of Beyoncé, but all of this is perfectly true. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

Gaga's performance of You & I with Sugarland was actually a really great marriage of her image and Country, she should do something like that at the CMAs. hELXIG 42,954
I knew the comparisons would begin when I saw Beyonce was going to collaborate with the Dixie Chicks. Meh, who cares, at least we know that Gaga slays. I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Addison Rae 16,606
I don't get it, why are they even compared in the first place? Two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WOMEN with their own style of music. Daddy Lessons shouldn't be compared at all to anything on Joanne because it's not the same. And once again, another article trying to put Gaga in a bad light over who made better country music. Yawn. sitting on his lap sipping diet pepsi
