SissyFromSpace 20,884
I hope this is just fear-mongering watch the video in the article Washington (CNN)Donald Trump's path to 270 electoral votes remains precarious -- but with some breaks, he can get there. Trump's campaign has made clear exactly what its targets are. It is spending $25 million on TV ads in the final week of the campaign in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Virginia, Nevada and New Hampshire. Those ad buys are based on the assumption that Trump doesn't need extra help to keep Arizona, Georgia, Utah, Texas or any other traditionally red state in the Republican column. Can Teleprompter Trump stay disciplined? Trump starts with four must-wins: Florida, Ohio, North Carolina and Iowa. Those -- plus making sure he doesn't surrender other typically Republican states, and winning the one electoral vote that can come from Maine's Second Congressional District -- get Trump to 260 electoral votes. AlphaMonster 1,806
Trump is a divisive figure, electoral college members can take initiative, and do not vote for Trump. It seems to depend on how many Obama states from 2012 can Trump flip to his side by small margins... Not easy but it still is possible. It seems like Hillary will gain more votes nation-wide for sure though, even if Trump becomes the president.

EGOT2027 10,967
Everyone, for the love of Gaga, VOTE. Don't think that you're vote "is unimportant." People have thought that before, and that's how Brexit happened.
FATCAT 60,938
This new "Trump is really really close to tieing/winning" is a push by Clinton's campaign and the media into getting people out to vote. Yes, it's possible obviously, but I'm not getting upset over these new articles. I'll be voting on the 8th either way. DeleteMyAccount 11,881
Someone recently posted a thread about how Trump was gaining in States. I told the OP that Clinton had nothing to worry about. She could lose Nevada, FL, Ohio, and NC and still win. However, Trump is now catching up and almost tied with Clinton in Colorado and NH in recent polls. Now I'm a little nervous. But we'll see.
