What do you think? Does Queen B deserve the praise and respect she gets? or is she is a snake in sheeps clothing???

 

Twitter stans and basically any stan will drag any other artist and show receipts of some sort of beyonce achievement... 

 

personally i think she's overrated! but thats my opinion! some of the beyhive is unusually nasty to other artists on social media!

I think she is deserving of praise. I do not think that she is as creative as some of her fans suggest, but she is talented in ways. She certainly knows how to put on a show, and her voice is pleasing, good to listen to. Her fans always go overboard, but they love their fave, so I get that.

I love Beyoncé but I think she's just a performer, which's important but as an artist there are lot of people who work harder and come up with better things!

 

She's a brand, just like Taylor Swift.

She's definitely talented: she has a good voice, she knows how to put on a show, her dancing is great, and lets not talk about her stage presence.

But i do think she's overrated: she has no creative input on her albums, neither on music videos, performances, she plays no instruments, she uses social causes as marketing tactics (that feminist thing...embarrassing). She still has a long, long way to go to rule the world, she doesn't even rule music...first things first, as Iggy would say.

She has become a creative powerhouse and a master pop artist. I think no one works harder at their craft and Lemonade and its performances were truly extraordinary for American pop culture. I also believe Solange's A Seat at the Table similarly broke new ground for pop music.

i like some of her songs and she gives an amazing show, but now i feel like the music is so for basic/plain bitc*es. Can't stand the "woke up like this" crap that all the most basic people I know used on social media and everywhere else. Idk how to explain this, like she serves some amazing looks that looks nothing like the basic-ness she brings overall. It just feels superficial.

The human voice is an instrument, and she is very well trained in that department. I think she has an interesting creative process too, people criticise her for having a bunch of writers but it's clear that she is the creative director mixing and matching melodies, productions, lyrics and themes that she likes.

I think Beyonce is an incredible artist with an exceptional amount of talent. She is very well trained and is an absolute perfectionist. I watched a documentary about her preparing for her tour and it was like Beyonce there working throughout the day and night with several workers coming and going because their shifts had started and ended. It was her directing everything, making sure the stage, the lighting, the choreography, the intros, the sound, the band was all perfect.

She works hard, she has incredible talent and she deserves to be regarded as one of the greats imo

That's why I don't have a Twitter. Some of them would probably say Lemonade flopped if they didn't get dragged to the grave for it.
