It actually is a bigger hit than LoveGame even though it didn't chart as high. It's longevity is responsible for that. Paparazzi was set to be a bigger hit but then she released bad romance not shortly after paparazzi became a single. So that promotion of bad romance interrupted paparazzis succuess
