Well she put on a bad ass show at the finale of Germany's next top model and ended it with 'Beauty is a Lie'.

The way I see it Gaga is about celebrating everyone being beautiful "in their way" and not shaming, judging or criticising anyone for their body image... Which is what you appear to be doing.

I was talking about this. Your'e not going to tell me that VS is about accepting your body when you are skinny. It's about telling what is sexy and what is not.

Well, I was hoping in something that fits the Era better than a Lingerie Fashion Show tbh, but I am not the perfect choice to talk about this Show since I've never seen one and I have no idea of what it is (except the part a bunch of girls walks through a bunch of people)

I'm a real Fire CRRRACKERRR

She has worked for other fashion shows that the women are stick thin..  why is VS any different for you? Because women are in lingerie?

Tom Ford and McQueen models are not the same as Calvin Klein and Magic Mike-looking models. And yes the fact they are 99% white, objectified women makes the show different.

I agree VS needs more diversity but why are Tom Ford and McQueen models different?

Because they aren't commercial?

It's just the values. Designers shows are about the clothing. No one is watching VS show for the panties. It's just the idea behind VS that what is sexy is skinny, 6ft tall white. This is not Gaga

However, the original post I was referring to was about the models "eating air" which I highly doubt. The VS models seem fit. I was making the comparison that Gaga hasn't worked for any designer that includes women of many different sizes... So you can't criticize that aspect of it.

Yes, VS is about selling sex but we weren't talking about that.

I know they are fit. But they are sometimes crazy skinny and it sells an image that is not right. I know she worked with skinny models before but they are not "selling" something.

That doesn't make it ok though :grr:

The industry of high fashion is NOTORIOUS about this issue. It doesn't matter if you are "selling" something or not.

It's about the poor girls who starve themselves for the liking of the designer. Gaga has collaborated in this industry.
