Venus is probably the song I dislike the most in Gaga's dischography

Madonna has a better discography than Gaga (ONLY because she's been around longer tho)

I think Gaga is generally insecure about her art

I think her last great album was Born This Way.

I'm not excited to see Gaga acting again. I think her acting is cringy.

4. I think ARTPOP should've been an EP with just Venus, G.U.Y., SeXXX Dreams, Swine, ARTPOP, Applause, Gypsy and DWUW. [SWINEFEST versions for the tracks that had them]

With all that said, ARTPOP as a whole is my 2nd least fave.

5. I can't forgive her for paying Schiesse and HML dust as Singles.

6. At the BTWB I camped out for 2 hours, went back home, came back right when they were giving out wristbands to be inside the monster pit, Monsters waiting outside had written numbers on their wrist in order to keep track of places so i asked for a marker, wrote a fake # on my hand, cut right in the middle of the line, got my wristband and they stopped giving them out 4 people AFTER me. Sorry bout it, but I had the time of my life.

3) I sometimes get frustrated by what Gaga does because she is so intelligent and capable of a lot more (this is getting more clear in the past few years though)

4) I still don't know what to think of her as an actress. Sometimes she's good, sometimes it's cringefest galore.

some random thoughts:

1. I hate the PI video. It gives me a headache

2. I didn't think gaga deserved the Golden Globe for her role in ahs. It was just embarrassing to watch her win. Also I hated how she acted so pretentious that night. I also hated her eyebrows.

3. I'm scared for the superbowl

4. I'm glad that the madonna comparisons are fading. That being said I do think madonna is more iconic + a better dancer (i don't think gaga is a very good dancer). Of course gags has way more talent and is a way better singer

5. I'm very excited for her role in american crime story as donatella versace but I'm scared for her acting.

6. Gypsy is my least fav song from her. I can't stand listening to it. It's so cheesy and just bad.

7. I think she looks kinda stupid when she acts like she plays the guitar but actually just plays 3 cords 

8. Telephone is still my fav gaga bop

9. The bowie tribute was so pretentious. It felt like she tried way too hard and it didn't feel like a tribute.

I love Joanne but I'm already tired of the era because there isn't anything exciting happening at the moment, except for the superbowl

I would have prefered a different era for the Super Bowl

1. BTW, AP, and C2C their album covers <<<<<

2. ARTPOP had a lot of visual potential and she could have really gone places with it. If she went with the Renaissance and Grecian Art/sleek futurism dichotomy, it could have really been great. The G.U.Y. music video was a step in the right direction, but that could have really been knocked out of the park had she executed it better.

3. The last three (pop) eras have all had the wrong lead single choices. If TEoG had been the lead single, it would have easily sold in the same ballpark as BR, JD, and PF (5m+). BTW did well off the hype, but TEoG would have benefited from the hype + sounding like a smash. DWUW solo or Gypsy would have been better lead singles than Applause, and they would have done better as well. AYO should have been Joanne's lead single. PI is a great song, but it's a grower; A-YO snatches your attention upon first listen, and that was exactly what she needed. It would've been a top 10 hit. I do think MR will do well though.

4. Speaking of singles, Starstruck, Monster, Dance in the Dark, Scheiße, MANiCURE, and Gypsy should have all been singles. Hopefully A-YO gets the single #3 slot. 

5. Her political stuff has kind of been making me cringe lately (I support neither Trump nor Hillary).  

6. Distinct imagery wasn't as strong during AP as it was during TF and TFM (and BTW to a lesser extent). I think she has corrected this though, the pastel pink hat has been very consistent, but she's been flexible enough so that it's not too monotonous. 

7. This is more of a problem that she had in the past, but hyping her work up too much. Art should speak for itself.
