Give The Queen another listen! I thought it was a terrible song at first listen, but the change-up midway through the song is beautiful. "Storrrrrrrmy night!"

As for TFM, you have to look at it in context of the times. When TFM came out, dance-pop/electronic music was NOT popular on radio, and if you liked that genre, you were restricted to longer obscure songs that were not written in pop format (3-4 minutes with catchy hooks and a changing sound). Gaga's was one of the first to make it become mainstream, after everyone else jumped on the bandwagon. For it's time, it was very unique and special. Nowadays, not as much.

I enjoy TF and TFM but the autotune and lyrics make me cringe a bit

I have never seen her live, like in person, bc I was way too young and poor

I love the Joanne era so much and tbh I might prefer Gaga without all of the costumes

I really really hated Gaga's yellow hair when she debuted it. It looked like piss. 

Not a fan of everyone's fave Telephone and Come to Mama.

Never paid for Grammy-winners The Fame Monster or C2C.

Stanned the Fame hard between 2008 and 2013, but now it don't do it for me. 

I'm really bad about watching her interviews these days, also. 

For being a fan for so long, I'm a really flop fan.

I was like 7?! I'm a teacher and my students are 7 and 8 years old. I just pictured them stealing Gaga albums and it made me laugh. God I'm old. 17 is still young 😭

I gave it another chance but it still won't do for me, idk how to explain but it's a bit too sugary for my taste. The change-up is interesting though and The Queen is still better than the other two bonus tracks.

Anyway I really like your argument on TFM, I hadn't really looked at it that way, and that was a bit superficial of me. The thing is, my passion for music began with Gaga, she's the first artist I started listening to and I didn't really have any awareness of what came before her or what were the trends at the time. Later on my tastes really evolved and went in a totally different direction, so that's why now I feel kinda underwhelmed by that kind of dance pop/electro pop. But your insight really made me look at the whole thing from a different perspective

- Didn't think she was 'that special' when Just Dance and Pokerface burst into the scene

- Didn't buy Born this Way album until the collection box was made available 

- Got 2 copies of ARTPOP because i thought the special foil cover would sell out

- Hated the DWYW version with Xtina. Also whatever leaked from the actual video

- Didn't like the app or most of the promo done for ARTPOP era
