I love how much this government has separated us based on a ****ing political party. This country is doomed unless a political revolution happens. The two party system is a bullshit idea, the founding fathers warned us against it and we should've listened. What it does now is create a false sense of security for voters. An average person is more likely to vote for someone based on the political party they're under, not because of the policies they want to instill. Honestly both candidates are trash in my opinion, but I'd rather have a liar than a racist rapist run the country. Regardless of who wins, nothing will get done, or very minimal at least, because we will vote the opposing party into the senate and congress and they won't pass any bills because they don't want to, just like always. "fortunately" it isn't popular opinion that decides an election in the US . A candidate can win the election with only 20 percent of the popular vote, what matters is the electoral college. This "machine" only measures general enthusiasm about a candidate but this election is different than previous election as the candidates are so dividing. This machine doesnt predict enthusiasm in certain states which trump needs to win to win the election. So honestly this enthusiasm machine, as well as any national poll are meaningless, what matters are the state polls in swing states. Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.
