Why MR lacks streaming when it's smashing on Itunes?

Hi.

I first wanted to say congrats to Gaga for her success with the #1 album but more than anything for the quality of Joanne, I just love it.

But the purpose of this topic is to understand something :

Why MR got so strong on Itunes when it didn't had momentum on Spotify after the carpool karaoke ?

Streaming is getting bigger than dowloads, and it's the future of music. Even if I believe in MR and in the album, my only charts wise "worry" is about her lack of streams by now with MR.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to bring useless meltdowns, I just want to put the finger on the only thing that could be asked about MR future's success, and I sure want it to smash !

And for those that say "she's never been a streaming force", well I hope she will knowing the growth of streaming.

Voilà !

Don't hate me for this topic :awkney::hug:

It's because young people stream, and Gaga is not popular with pre-teens and children. Older people still BUY their music.

Because Gaga is not a streaming machine yet, she barely got one hit in the streaming era so she is struggling to recover, if she gets 1 or 2 hits her numbers are going to be so much bigger

Does this match up with the main demographic of The Late Late Show? I figured young people would also have seen Gaga's CK and streamed the songs.

Why talking about closing this thread? I think that a real question to ask.

I'm so happy about the song being in the Top 10 *Itunes * but I'm just wondering why it didn't broke the *Spotify* top 50.

I have a hard time believing that pre-teens and teenagers watch this unless it goes super viral like the ones by Justin Bieber or Adele.

So far, it's like people between 25-40 responding the the most the Gaga rn.

Ever since she entred the music scene, a new generation has emerged. The post millenials. And they're even more fickle than us :deadbanana:

Chris Evans

tbh now that streaming is involved w/ the charts it's going to be hard for her to have a hit when others (whether they're paid for or not) get millions of streams per week

Why? :oprah:

When people disagree with you, you tend to end the discussion? What kind of a narcissistic world you live in? :oprah:

I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time.

As far as I can tell, everyone born past 1998 is a complete waste :neyde:

15 year olds have a relationship drama that even HBO couldn't come up with :saladga:
