I'm sorry, but there are ways to decline to comment, or he could have simply said "I didn't want to be a part of something I didn't fully believe in". He straight up said "**** off, that's stupid". Immaturity and childish.
duke99unc01 37
I guess he's entitled to his opinion but it's a f***ing tribute...he could've been more tactful and less shady imo. She deserves credit (and respect too) for paying homage to Bowie even if you disagree with her approach or don't like it. 😒 Duncan Jones

That's that really

I got disdain for the tribute format set up by Gaga and Niles. There's a difference. He could have been more tactful, though.
freebit 6,240
Ugh, the more I hear from them, the more I'm disappointed by Bowie's ~team~ and their lack of tact. What bunch of crusty, unpleasant individuals.
Killa 17,478
They were full of prejudice from the get go. And she really didn't convinced them otherwise. Ofc that was a ****ing terrible idea. And the perfomance was really not good in the end. Such a pitty, i would love if she had worked with this people, but maybe they just don't are her people and that's kinda fine. Thouh she works with some not so good musicians, and that bothers me
thopekas 723
the only "bad thing" about Gaga's tribute was their decision to cover so many songs, they should have put like 3-4 songs,no more, because it felt rushed..Gaga was literally running from the one song to the next one with all these thing happening on stage like the visuals, dancers, projections, mechanical thing etc,it was too much so you couldn't focus on one thing at a time,it ended and i was like "what happened?i couldn't proccess it,i had to watch it several times to notice every thing that happened
Fanta 5,019
These legends and their teams are some of the most obnoxious and pretentious people that walk this earth. And what I said has nothing to do with whether or not Bowie was incredible or not (I don't enjoy him however one word: icon), but it gets annoying with how they talk with a stick up their ass and like the own artistry and creativity. It's such a shame because some of these legends are phenomenal, but their stuck up attitudes take away from their personality. Madonna, Grace Jones, Bowie (he didn't like Gaga) and I guess his team now. RIP to Bowie, the industry lost a star, but it's so sad that this is what some of his associates choose to do with his name now.
boysboysboys 278
My issue about him is this: why come out with this now? Why not back when after the performances were held? It only makes this person look strategic and even phony.
Bio 23,538
He's right. She should have done Space Oddity and Heroes and called it a day.

NickiMinajStan 6,892
Never gave a sh*t about Bowie's opinion on GaGa, I'm certainly not caring about his irrelevant drummer's views either, sorry I just fail to understand why do these people think it is ok to trash someone who had nothing but words of praise for Bowie. Apparently not a single person on Bowie's team had any class at all, perhaps he was just rude himself, who knows. All I know is that GaGa's tribute was not only great, but also literally the only one I've heard of. If there were others, they were probably not relevant enough HEART OF EVER-FROST
