On one hand, I like her, on the other I don't. I also am beginning to think when this bizarre Cry Baby era eventually (ever ever ends..aka 25 years from now), will the appeal still be there (she's not exactly global anyway so make of it what you will darlins). Like when she doesn't have a frickin baby bottle to hold instead of a microphone, will people be like "oh this chick is basic"

She's the artist, she clearly has a vision, let's wait for it to unfold before we turn it down and even if we do, it's not like others won't appreciate it.

This chick is one of the most talented artists I've seen in a very long while. I have a feeling her next album is about Cry Baby facing reality, facing her fear which is growing up and at the end of the record we most likely would see the end of her Cry Baby days and a new persona for album 3. I think Melanie had a 4 album concept for this whole story and she's young so let the girl do what she wants. Oh I'd also like to add I feel album 2 is gonna be very inspired by Alice In Wonderland.

I find it hilarious that the same people keep coming to Melanie's thread and bitching about her baby's character. If it's not for you, fine, but keep spreading your dislike and negativity won't make some of us like her any less.
