PI was the necessary sacrificial lamb for these monsters to be more receptive towards Joanne's sound and change of direction as a whole. (Minus c2c and tribute shows) We needed a spearhead to breakthrough the GP and remind people she is back. Carpool Karaoke could have been that if it was aired earlier.
