However, I listened to it again, loved it, and realized how ****ing catchy everything was; I knew so much lyrics already and I had heard most of the songs only once 24 hours before! If it's a grower for me, it probably is for others too, so maybe it will be a sleeper hit like 100% of the stuff she released that became hits. Or maybe it'll flop hard. As long as she does music she wants to do, without caring about charts, it's going to be good. I mean, even if she did try to make music to have hits, it would probably be bad and flop anyway (looking at you, girl who was gonna show us you were a loco maniac sick bitch psychopath, but recycled yourself in singing about being in a club while twerking). I was incredibly disappointed by it. The songs sound like bonus tracks from her first album. She doesn't do enough international promo. I hate to break it you, but the truth is unless an artist outwith your own country is given a lot of promo in your country, they're not going to take off as a massively successful artist in your region. Most people can barely keep up with the artists from their own country, so they have to have a lot of reminding that artists from other countries exist to even care about them. It doesn't go much deeper than that. But also, she called her album Lady Wood and its cover art consists of a close-up of a woman's pubic region with the waistband of her shorts being pulled down slightly. Albums with such raunchy titles and cover art rarely do well. I'm surprised her label thought such a title and cover art was a good idea.
