RadioIsOurs 13,873
Did Gaga meant just the melody, or the lyrics, or just one part of the song? Because that's much faster than I could even write in an essay...
Crystalline 993
She most likely means she wrote the majority of the song or had a good idea of the lyrics, I am pretty sure she went back with the other writiers and changed lyrics later.
homomo 23,883
I mean.... "Just dance, it's gonna be okay... da de da doop" isn't that hard to write lol 0110100001100101011011000110110001101111
gagaofvengeance 267
Actually it depends. Ideas are very subjective-- sometimes they just flood. Sometimes you need time to think. I also once wrote a song in 5 minutes (the lyrics).
calmar 22,055
From what I know, she hears everything in her head kind of all at once. So it's how fast it takes for her to write down what words she hears, instruments, melodies, harmonies, and then she can tinker with it later. 俺の勝利は揺るぎない
memomemome 1,478
Usually the one that written in 10 minutes will be better than later. You maybe remember this
Chris Evans 8,917
Just Dance chorus could've easily been done in less than a minute I think she means the general idea/melody and then verses get rewritten later on
Killa 17,460
she totally means having an idea of the chords or possibly a riff and melody and probably most lyrics. If you have the wholle scheme, it's basically a song.
PartySick 159,824
2 minutes ago, Interstellar said: da de da doop John Wayne teas OT: She probably just writes the majority that quick. Just to get the general layout of the song. Then she polishes it and spends 10 months working on the production 🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼
Seeka 12,372
It could mean anything. but honestly, even if she writes the song in ten minutes, she has to put it through drafts.

Anderson123 38,190
Probably the concept of the song along with some melodies or hooks. I mean, not the ENTIRE song, she changes the lyrics later and then they work on the instruments. Something like this I'd imagine: Gaga has shown recordings of the "Ju-dah Ju-dah ah" hook on her cellphone, which is probably how she comes up with random things and records them, then later she obviously works on them. NIghtmareElm 2,606
She probably had a rough idea of the lyrics, melody, and beat. Nikki Reed wrote the movie Thirteen in less than a week. I am assuming songs are likes scripts. They will go through numerous drafts till you get the final product.
Zorrotek 285
Usually happens when a tune rushes through your mind and you get this adrenaline and excitement of writing lyrics over that melody.
